Elecworks™ is a powerful new generation software tool, that enables electrical designers and automation experts to create automation and electrical installation projects. Through Windows standard interfaces, engineers can produce better installation designs and supporting documentation faster.
Elecworks™ lets you enter data project data from the preliminary research stages. A huge part of the project planning can be achieved without having to do any scheme diagrams, this is thanks to the processing tools such as the Line Diagram and Components Management features.
Elecworks™ has been developed as an electrical CAD system for use by design engineering professionals. Scheme diagrams employ intelligent wiring and internationally recognized symbols standards that provides seamless continuity of project data.
There is no learning curve, using elecworks™ is straightforward with self explanatory no jargon commands. Smart tools provide context sensitive help and commands that let you produce small, medium, and large projects with multiple engineers collaborating together.

Elecworks™ is inspired by Windows standards and has multi-level UNDO/REDO facilities available for all functionalities. The product has contextual menus and a ribbon interface that lets you access commands in a natural way as the project develops.

The line diagram gives users the opportunity to describe the installation through a schematic diagram, representing the different equipment and connecting cables. The description via the diagram allows rapid definition of equipment and cables, and can also be used as a project costing tool. The information in the diagram is automatically re-annotated into the detailed scheme drawing.

A database to stock a project data
Elecworks™ stocks all installation information, from symbols and lines, up to the complete description of components and cables in a database representing the digital template of an installation. When you work with
elecworks™, you are interacting with this database in real-time.
Knowledge base orientation
Proven designs and company best practises can be embedded into the specific diagrams or projects, to be reused in other projects.
Elecworks™ will allow the designer to store this data in minutes and make it available to all users, as a part of, or as a complete functional structure of a project.
The Input/Output I/O database
The management of I/O has been studied in particular in
elecworks™. It is one of the principle elements in the sizing of the project: choice of the PLCs, number and types of cards necessary, the interface with the software programs, project cost, choice of cable technology, etc.
The technology
Elecworks™ is the result of an unprecedented technological development. The graphics are stored in a native DWG compatible format that enables data exchange between different software packages. The database uses SQL Server, with configuration data in an XML format, the application is 100% Unicode.
